There are three components of the BDS Fund. These are the Access to Finance and Access to Markets components of the MSME Project (Ministry of Trade and Industry), and the Renewable Energy Component of the Ministry of Energy.

Maximum grant levels and approval thresholds
The maximum individual grant size for any application will be as follows:
Access to Finance and Access to Markets windows - $100,000 for any single grant, and $200,000 to any single applicant over the life of the Fund
Renewable Energy window – no limit is yet determined. The nature of application and the capacity of the beneficiary institution/company will determine these levels.
In all cases, however, repeat applications will be subject to graduated beneficiary cost sharing.
