SNV is an International development organisation with almost half a century of world-wide experience. Working in over 30 countries across four continents, SNV combines the inspiration of the development worker with professional management and advisory services, strengthening the capacity of local organisations in order to create real and lasting impact in economic development.

In the Western Balkans, SNV has been active for over 15 years, working in Albania , Bosnia and Herzegovina , Macedonia , Montenegro and, most recently, Kosovo. Through a network of nine local offices, over 80 SNV staff—mostly country nationals— support a wide range of private and public sector organisations at national, regional and local level. We assist localisation of EU pre-accession processes in agriculture, forestry, tourism, water, and governance, including anti-corruption. As a rule we include local associate partners in our service delivery.
SNV Netherlands Development Organisation is headquartered in The Hague, the Netherlands and registered as an independent foundation.
