As a result of the different windows of the BDS Fund, this section will be discussed under those different windows, namely, Access to Finance, Access to Markets and Renewable Energy. Generally, the target beneficiaries

1. Must, in principle, be privately owned. Certain exceptions, e.g. training institutions, may be appropriate and can be approved on a case by case basis
2. Should not be in receipt of financial support from any other source for the activities for which they are seeking support from the BDS Fund
3. Should be in a position to commence the project within three months of receipt of service
4. Must show a commitment to sustainable development in the short to medium term and demonstrate a planned approach to achieving their objectives
5. Must be registered businesses in Ghana
